With over 15 years in the apparel and creative industries, Andy Salzer is founder and creative director of Hiro Clark, a Los Angeles-based t-shirt company. He has previously worked with TOMS as VP of Partnerships, and as founder and director of men’s fashion brand Yoko Devereaux.
WHAT IS YOUR PRESENT STATE OF MIND?
Balanced. But it’s still early.
A New York-based photographer who has shown his work at countless exhibitions and group shows, and shoots commercial work for the likes of Hiro Clark and Volkswagen. His current show “For You!,” is being shown at the Kittredge Gallery, University of Puget Sound, in Tacoma, Washington.
Born and raised in Northern California, Bevilacqua is a New York-based painter who combines high and low pop culture in his work, drawing on icons and logos from music, fashion and art.
WHO IS YOUR FAVORITE ARTIST?
There’s never just one, that’s like trying to pick my favorite person – I have many. I’m working with two of my favorites right now – John Arsenault and Michael Bevilacqua.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE COLOR AND FLOWER?
Black or white. And succulents.
WHAT DO YOU CONSIDER THE MOST OVERRATED VIRTUE?
Contentment. I liken that to ‘giving up’.

My dad. He’s the most compassionate person I have ever known.

I tried and tried to name one person, and I can’t. Instead, it’s a combination of different people that have believed in me.

Inspired by a questionnaire given to Marcel Proust by his friend Antoinette, Natascha Snellman began “The Confession Album” in December 2012 to feature creative individuals. This series of questions reveals personality by asking about the tastes and aspirations of the taker. Natascha originally photographed friends and acquaintances with an iPhone after they took the Proust questionnaire, and was later joined by photographer and editor Lance Dawes.
