George Lewis Jr.
Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in Florida, Lewis relocated to Brooklyn to pursue music under his stage persona Twin Shadow. He has released two studio albums, “Forget” (2010), co-produced by Grizzly Bear’s Chris Taylor, and “Confess” (2012), which Lewis self-produced – layered with Lewis’ croon hovering over tracks redolent of 80’s synth pop. Twin Shadow is currently recording in L.A., where Lewis now lives and works, and will release an album this fall.

Inspired by a questionnaire given to Marcel Proust by his friend Antoinette, Natascha Snellman began “The Confession Album” in December 2012 to feature creative individuals. This series of questions reveals personality by asking about the tastes and aspirations of the taker. Natascha originally photographed friends and acquaintances with an iPhone after they took the Proust questionnaire, and was later joined by photographer and editor Lance Dawes.
