I went to shoot with Emily on a Friday morning. There is no road to her home in Silver Lake; you get there by finding a staircase near a bunch of trashcans and then climb up. We chatted and took photos and enjoyed the day.

What do you like most about your line of work?
I love all the great people I meet. I’ve been working with such amazingly creative, kind people.

What inspires you?
Traveling, the outdoors, and my friends.

Do you recall your first favorite t-shirt?
Hmmm, probably my Maui fish tee that I got when I was a kid that I still have today. It’s super tiny and worn out.

What’s next for you?
Hopefully acting more!

How would you describe your style?
Super casual and comfortable. Men’s clothes, button downs, Dickies jumpsuits.

What do you do when you are not working?
I love to cook and draw and embroider.
