“Pulp: a Film about Life, Death & Supermarkets” is a feature documentary about the legendary British band PULP, its frontman Jarvis Cocker, and the group’s home city of Sheffield, England. The film contains exclusive footage of the band’s last ever live show in 2012, testimonials by family and friends, and band members’ thoughts on fame, love, mortality, and car maintenance.

Filmmaker Florian Habicht specifically focuses on place and environment: how the residents and city of Sheffield itself shaped Pulp. Habicht is a Berlin-born New Zealand native known for his cult film “Woodenhead” (2003), “Kaikohe Demolition” (2004), and the critically acclaimed “Love Story” (2010).

Album “Seeds”

TV on the Radio

Having transplanted to the West Coast, the (former) New York indie band, TV on the Radio is back with a fifth album, “Seeds” . The followup to 2011’s “Nine Types of Light” marks the first LP release since the passing of former bassist, Gerard Smith, in 2011. “Seeds” is characterized as a celebration by the band. Filled with upbeat sounds and optimistic lyrics, the album is a beautiful break from the band’s usual experimental approach to music, that is just as great.

“Seeds” is set to release November 18th via Harvest Records
